Striker Kofi Kodzi says personal glory must take a back seat for Hearts to triumph on all fronts this season.
The bulky striker has racked up five goals in 11 matches in the Ghanaian top-flight league and appears to have hit his top form for the Phobians.
Kofi Kordzi struck a last-gasp winner as Hearts of Oak clinched a dramatic 3-2 victory over Bechem United to boost their Premier League hopes in the GPL after matchday 11.
The Accra based club is in contention to challenge for titles on all fronts including the Ghana Premier League and the MTN FA Cup.
But Kodzi says he is more concerned about the collective target of the team than his glory.
“I will not be happy at the moment because I have not reach where I want to be but I’m thankful to God. I always pray my team goes high rather than individual glory” he said.
He adds that, he will do all that he can to catch up with the goal king race.
