FootballMadeInGhana.com can exclusively reveal that, the Management of Hearts of Oak and midfielder, Thomas Abbey are close to agreeing on a one-year deal which will settle doubts over whether or not the player will be with the Phobians next season.
Thomas Abbey resumed pre-season training with Hearts of Oak on Monday. He’s in good condition to join the team for their Cape Coast trip to play Medeama in their second G-8 game.
Thomas Abbey, whose contract ended with Hearts at the end of the 2016/17 season, was initially on the rader of Maritzburg United in South Africa but the deal did not go through.
He scored 13 goals for Hearts last season, finishing as the third highest scorer in the Ghana Premier League.
Pundits say, he will be a very good addition to the Phobian setup in the 2017/18 season as he was last season if the Hearts Management are able to tie him down.
