Hearts of Oak has shown the exit door to midfield duo Charles McCarthy and Emmanuel Mintah following a mutual termination of their contracts.
The Phobians have released the two players after failing to prove their worth in the 2019/2020 season as they have struggled for playing minutes.
Stop gap coach Edward Odoom deem McCarthy and Mintah as surplus to requirements during a meeting with the club's Board of Directors on Thursday.
Mintah joined Hearts of Oak on a free transfer from Karela United after putting up an outstanding performance in the Special Competition.
McCarthy also signed for Hearts on a free transfer after he was released from Elmina Sharks.
The duo have failed to live up to expectation at the club since joining them under Coach Kim Grant due to persistent injuries.
