Captain Thomas Abbey was named the official man-of-the-match in Hearts of Oak's 1-0 win at AshantiGold on Saturday.
The winger is said to have covered grass and leading most of the Hearts of Oak's attack
He was denied by goalkeeper George Apronti in the first half but he still kept going.
The skipper was unlucky not to have won a penalty when his strike in the box was blocked by Roland Amouzou's outstretched arm.
Substitute Paul Acquah scored the lone winner but Abbey's industrious display was enough to win him the official MOTM award.
