Striker for Accra Heart of Oak, Joseph Esso was named the 'Man of the Match' on Sunday afternoon when his side defeated Ebusua Dwarfs in the Ghana Premier League.
The striker was in fine form in the Match Week 3 fixture of the 2019/2020 Ghanaian top-flight and helped the Phobians to record their first win of the campaign, bagging their first 3 points in the process.
Esso who was handed a starting role for Hearts of Oak was outstanding throughout the 90 minutes and opened the scoring for his side. He stepped up for a free-kick and converted with a sublime effort just outside the opponent's goal area.
In the second half, he showed similar form and linked up play very well with his teammates up front to inspire them to a 2-1 win over Ebusua Dwarfs at the end of the 90 minutes.
Assessing the performance of players in the match, Joseph Esso has been named the NASCO Man of the Match and goes home with a brand new phone plus a clipper.
