Asante Kotoko beat Bechem United 1-0 on match day 12 of the 2018 Ghana Premier League on Sunday at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.
Kotoko were under intense pressure following back to back defeats against Hearts of Oak and Karela United. But a second-half strike by winger Emmanuel Gyamfi was enough for Kotoko to beat Bechem 1-0 to return to win column.
The win lifted Kotoko to 8th place with seven points behind leaders Ashgold ahead of their next assignment against Elmina Sharks.
