Communications Manager of Ghana Football Association (GFA), Ibrahim Sannie Dara has stated that, f cannot confirm if Kwesi Nyantakyi will avail himself for elections to retain the presidency of the GFA in 2019.
Nyantakyi, announced his decision not to contest in 2019, but there are still doubts over his intentions.
Sannie believes his boss has the sole decision to make, hence, he is not in the position to say Mr Nyantakyi will contest in 2019 or not.
” Infact I can’t say he will contest or not, even though he has said he will not contest. The decision is his and he can choose either ways,” Mr Dara told Accra based Hot FM.
Nyantakyi is the current first vice of CAF and he is touted to be the next CAF president, possibly after the term of the current president, Ahmad Ahmad.
