Alhaji Grusah, owner of King Faisal Football Club, has alleged match-fixing in the Ghana Premier League, claiming to have evidence of manipulated games.

Speaking to Asempa FM, he described this season’s league as “very bad” and accused some clubs of involvement, stating, “I have evidence of three or four fixed matches, and some clubs have already started begging.”

Grusah called for an independent investigation to address the issue and ensure accountability. “I want an independent observer or body to give the final judgment,” he insisted, though he did not disclose specific clubs or matches involved.

His claims reignite longstanding concerns over the league’s integrity, urging authorities to take decisive action to restore trust in Ghanaian football.
