Technical Director of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Francis Oti Akenten has stated categorically that he will not apply for the job again.
The Ghana FA wants a replacement for the veteran football administrator, whose contract will not be renewed when it expires this month.
The FA have however opened the application for interested coaches to apply for the top-notch job.
During an interview on Accra-based Happy FM, Akenteng said he will not apply for the position again when asked if he will apply for the job again, he said,
“It will be difficult for me to reapply for the job because while at the post they have opened the application for interested persons to apply”
“If the FA wanted to work with me they would have talked to me for me to even ignore it.”
