Ghana international Samuel Inkoom said he will strive to be a regular at Bastia after making his French Ligue 1 debut last weekend
The defender said he is already adapting to the condition in France and hopes by the time his loan spell ends, he would have made an impact.
“The moment I was named in the squad I knew I was going to play and the coach confirmed it to me and gave me the assurance that he had seen enough of me in training to start me in the game,” Inkoom told 90 Minutes.
“I did my best even though it was a difficult game as I had to track back all the time to support the right back.
“I’ll continue to work hard and impress the coach and try to get more playing time.
“I’m happy here and hopefully I can help the team do well.”
The former Asante Kotoko guardsman moved to France in January from Dnipro on loan.
