Ghana defender Samuel Inkoom has declared he is ready to face the USA on Monday and is also calling for the support of Ghanaians throughout the World Cup.
Inkoom managed to revive his flagging career in Greece with Platanias after falling down the pecking order at Ukrainian side FC Dnipro.
The right-back has been pushing hard to earn a starting role in Ghana’s Group G opener.
Inkoom insists the Black Stars are pumped up to make an impact in Brazil.
“We are not here in Brazil for holiday or for the fun of it we are here to do business,” he said.
“We need the support of Ghanaians and we are all ready and ready to go.”
Inkoom was a member of the squad which reached the last eight of the 2010 finals in South Africa and played in the 2-1 win over the Yanks.
