Ghana Premier League side Inter Allies have received a major injury boost as first-choice goalkeeper George Apronti has returned to training after an injury scare in their last encounter against Great Olympics.
?After careful assessment by the Allies medical team, Apronti has been passed him fit and he resumed to training ahead of the club’s weekend league fixture.
?The former AshGold SC goalkeeper suffered the injury in a collision with an Olympics’ attacker just 18 minutes into the game on Saturday and was stretchered off after receiving treatment from the club’s medical team.
?There were initial fears the injury could keep him out for a period but it now looks certain that barring any last-minute occurrences Apronti will have a key part to play in the Match Week 7 game with King Faisal.
?He has played five matches this season after making his debut in the win against Bechem United during Match Week two.
