Dreams FC's new signing Issah Ibrahim scored a hat-trick and as Razak Cromwell unleashed a beautiful freekick to help the Dawu Club beat Vatens Sport to progress to the next round of the MTN FA Cup.
Vatens Sport came into this game on the back of a 5-0 thrashing of Koforidua Utd in the previous round so they fancied their chances ahead of Saturday afternoon’s clash.
Dreams deservedly take the lead after a period of dominance through Issah Ibrahim as Kwadwo Asamoah rounded the goalkeeper and squared the ball to Ibrahim who made no mistake from the edge of the box.
The youngster was at it again in the second half as his trickery resulted in a freekick just at the edge of the Vatens penalty box and Razak Cromwell was precise with his kick to send Dreams FC 2-0 up.
Vatens immediately halved the deficit with a good bicycle kick from their substitute striker but Issah Ibrahim restored dreams FC’s two goal cushion with a header two minutes later.
The youngster rounded off his hattrick with a sweet volley later on in the second half to give Dreams FC a deserving 4-1 victory.
