Due to the ongoing Community Games, both teams were forced to warm up outside the stadium, and the games ended less than 20 minutes before the match.

This affected Accra Lions' pre-game preparations, with Francis revealing that he couldn’t give a proper team talk due to loud noise from the event.

He acknowledged that while it wasn't an excuse, the lack of preparation impacted performance, especially in the first half. The match ended in a 0-0 draw, with both teams struggling to find their rhythm and unable to score.
