In an interview with BBC’s Match of the Day, Semenyo expressed his excitement: "It feels amazing. They are the best team in the world. We made it difficult for them, and everyone is thrilled with the outcome. A win is a win, whether by one goal or three; we earned it."
He also commended teammate Milos Kerkez for his defensive contributions, stating, "His performance was outstanding. It was challenging for all of us, but he made crucial blocks to keep us competitive."
Regarding Evanilson, Semenyo noted, "We recognize his potential in training. We understand it takes time to adjust to a new league, but he has performed well, and the goals are starting to come."
Looking forward, Semenyo conveyed confidence in Bournemouth's prospects this season: "We have faith. We train hard every day and bring that effort onto the pitch. Many may underestimate us, but we know our capabilities."
