Deputy captain of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Emmnauel Gyamfi has rubbished reports that he is on his way to fellow Ghana Premier League side Aduana Stars.
Reports on Monday from various media outfits linked the tricky winger with a move to the Dormaa based side.
The attacker says that he has not spoken with anyone at Aduana Stars and respects his contract with Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
He revealed that he is planning on staying with Kotoko and will be part of the team's pre-season training very soon.
“I’m still an Asante Kotoko player and I have a contract with the club which I respect. Those rumour circulating that I will leave the club aren’t true,” Gyamfi told Success FM.
“There’s nothing true about it and I’ve not met any one from Aduana Stars also regarding a possible move. I’m hoping to join my teammates for the pre-season and work hard to achieve our aims."
The winger scored 5 goals his highest ever for the club in 35 matches while providing just one assists in the just ended season.
