Former Coach of Ebusua Dwarfs, J.E.A Sarpong has advised Hearts of Oak Coach Henry Wellington to resign from the club following a string of poor results.
Henry Wellington was appointed head Coach of the Phobians at the start of the season after the club had parted ways with Scottish trainer Frank Nuttal.
However, the former Ghana Premier League Champions have struggled in the current campaign with just 11 points from 9 games and are currently 10 of the league log.
The pressure at the club has been growing and veteran tactician tells his colleague to quit in order to avoid the severe backlash meted at him by fans of the club.
"I will advise Wellington to use the excuse opportunity to quit as the coach of Hearts. I believe that can help him,” Coach Sarpong said while doing analysis on GTV Sports +.
“We lost the late Offei Ansah through pressure and I advise Wellington to be careful.
“Since he has been given some time off, he should take advantage and resign,” he added.
Coach Henry Wellington is however on leave due to illness with assistant Coach Edward Odoom at the helm of affairs.
