Ghana defender John Boye has expounded Ghana’s keeper Razak Brimah instructed him to leave a cross ball in by cameroon which resulted into a goal against Ghana. Boye revealed he could have cleared the ball from the danger zone of the Black Stars defense but had to reconsider that upon an instruction from his Goalkeeper.
Speaking to Metro FM’s reporter and sportsworldghana.com writer, Gariba Raubil in Franceville, Gabon Boye disclosed Razak shouted at him which informed his action to dodge from the ball.
‘Yes Razak shouted that I should leave the ball for him so I tried to dodge it but it hit me on the head. That’s what happened. I tried to go down as low as possible but the ball hit me” He said.
Cameroon defeated Ghana 2-0 in the semi final game which made them booked a place in the AFCON 2017 Final with Egypt on sunday. Ghana will play in the third place game on saturday with Burkina Faso.
