Defender Jonathan Mensah has undergone MRI scan to determine the extent of a thigh injury he picked up in Columbus Crew's 3-2 win over Portland on Saturday.
The center back fell after the Timbers' Diego Valeri connected with the 26-year-old Ghana international while sliding in the 70th minute.
Mensah lay on the pitch for a couple minutes before Alex Crognale came on as a replacement in the 73rd.
After the game, Crew coach and sporting director Gregg Berhalter said Mensah had a "right thigh injury" that would be evaluated later.
Mensah was making a return to the side after serving a one-match ban.
