Joseph Aidoo sees action as Celta Vigo wallop Alaves 6-0

Ghana's Joseph Aidoo was in action this afternoon and helped Celta Vigo to record an emphatic 6-0 win over Deportivo Alaves in the Spanish La Liga.

In a Matchday 30 fixture of the 2019/2020 top-flight league season played at the Abanca Balaidos, the Sky Blue side that played as the home team had too much under their sleeves for the visitors.

Celta Vigo finished the first half leading by 4 goals to nil courtesy a brace from Rafinha, and equalizers from Jeison Murillo and Iago Aspas.

In the second half, Deportivo Alaves suffered the consequence of playing with a man disadvantage following the sending off of Martin Aguirregabiria on the 27th minute.

Ghanaian international Joseph Aidoo who started the match as a substitute was introduced on the 71st minute when he replaced Jeison Murillo. The defender proved crucial at the back as he helped Celta Vigo to protect the 4-goal lead.

Two late goals from new signing Nolito and Santi Mina wrapped up the compounding win for the host with Alaves disappointingly returning home with no point.
