The Ghanaian champions gave the Japanese trainer the mandate to lead the club after sacking Yussif Abubakar for allegedly signing pre-contract with Accra Hearts of Oak.
Kenichi left Inter Allies last week after leading the club to sixth position in the first round of the 2017/2018 Ghana Premier League season.
