German top-flight Fortuna Düsseldorf are set to announce the imminent arrival of Bernard Tekpetey on loan from Schalke 04.
The Bundesliga clubs reached an agreement over the details of the contract after fruitful negotiations on Thursday.
The 21-year-old striker will initially join Düsseldorf on a two-year loan deal. The Flingeraner, however, can exercise their option to buy him outright for €2.5m at the end of his loan stint.
The Royal Blues have also inserted an €8m buy-back clause in the contract.
Tekpetey scored 10 goals and 6 assists in 32 league appearances in the German second division last season to help SC Paderborn secure Bundesliga promotion.
