Swedish Premiership side Hammarby newly signed Ghanaian international goalkeeper, Richard 'Oleley' Kingson, who joined the club a fort-night has grabbed the headlines of most Swedish sports journal after his maiden league appearance for the club last Tuesday.

Kingson, whose side earned a point after travelling away to hold fellow GAIS to a 1-1 draw, had an impressive league outing according to reports as he kept his side in the game especially in the second half of the game when he pulled some breath-taking saves.

A famous Swedish television sports presenter was quoted as describing the Black Stars goalie as "these are the kind of materials that the Swedish Premiership needs to put them at the level of the big European leagues and the English Premiership', in fact the Ghanaian goalie has demostrated this afternoon why the Black Stars appears as the team to beat on the African continent".

On their side, most fans of Hammarby described the former Accra Great Olympics goalie as a perfect material for the club who officials must persuade to extend his contract when it ends in June.

The former Galatasaray goalie, who is also the senior brother of Black Stars and Scotish side Hearts midfielder Laryea Kingson, joined Hammarby last month from Turkish side BB Ankaraspor after a decade of playing in the Turkish league.
