Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Felix Annan has expressed his upbeat about their Sunday's clash against Aduana Stars in the Zylofon Premier League.
The Porcupine Warriors will battle out with last season Ghana Premier League champions, Aduana Stars at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
According to the 23-year-old goalie, he and his teammates will defy all odds to beat the 'Ogya' lads on Sunday at home.
"We are playing against the defending champions. They have good team and also participating in the CAF Confederation Cup," Annan told the Asante Kotoko Media
"Playing against Aduana Stars looks like a rivalry fixture. It won't be an easy game on Sunday but we're poised for victory over them [Aduana Stars],"
"We want to end the first round of the 2017/18 season on a high note. We're going to prepare very well to grab all the maximum points against Aduana to at least finish in the top four,"
Asante Kotoko currently lies sixth position with 21 points after match-day 14.
