Kumasi Asante Kotoko forward Saddick Adams insists the club is ready for their African campaign next season.
The Porcupine Warriors will represent Ghana at the CAF Confederations Cup, following their triumph in the MTN FA Cup last season.
Kumasi Asante Kotoko have been preparing ahead of next season, having played several off season games including an international friendly against Benin side Buffle Du Borgue. A game they won 1-0 on Thursday.
After the game, the former Ghana Youth Star said, the club is ready for the CAF Confederations Cup.
“Whoever came to watch our game against Buffles Du Borgou saw our performance. All the boys are ready and we are also ready as a team, but it would be very helpful if we’re to play more such matches,” Adams said in post-match interview.
Asante Kotoko will face Club Athletique De Rennaissance of DR Comgo in Kumasi for the first leg of the preliminary stages of the competition.
The Reds have added several new players to their squad including former Aduana Stars defender Adams Wahab and club legend Jordan Opoku.
