Inter Milan defender Kwadwo Asamoah has decided to opt out of Ghana’s 2019 AFCON qualifier against Ethiopia.
According to close sources, Asamoah says he is not fit enough for the crunch encounter and has already communicated his decision to the technical team.
Asamoah has been in fine form for the Nerazzuris both in the domestic league and the UEFA Champions and his inclusion will have been great for coach Kwesi Appiah who has called majority of out of form players.
An official statement will be released by the Normalisation Committee on Asamoah’s decision in the coming hours.
