Black Stars head Coach James Kwasi Appiah is set to re-apply for the role following the expiry of his contract.
The new football leadership have resolved to dissolve all technical teams of the various national sides all in a bid to re-shape the technical direction of these teams to ensure better performances and results.
In this vein, other national team coaches and their respective staff have been relieved off their positions.
Kwasi Appiah has been under scrutiny ever since the Black Stars failed to hit targeted heights at the AFCON 2019 tournament in Egypt.
After suffering elimination at the hands of Tunisia, many were the calls that the axe should be wielded on the former Ghana skipper.
It now remains to be seen whether the 59 year old stands any bright chance to have his role back if he re-applies.
