Willem II striker Kwasi Okyere Wriedt has become the sixth Ghanaian to score ten goals in the Dutch Eredivisie.
On Saturday, 18 September 2021, the Hamburg-born scored the opener for Willem II in their 2-1 win over Groningen to tally ten goals in a total of 29 matches.
Wriedt is now behind Matthew Amoah (116), Prince Polley (38), Kwame Quansah (19), Nii Lamptey (10), and Nana Kwasi Asare (10).
The Ghana international joined Willem II last season after a successful spell with the Bayern Munich II's side.
In his first season, he scored eight goals in 24 matches, and this term, he is on two goals in five appearances.
