Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah has called on Ghanaians to remember the team in prayers as they prepare to engage the Kenya in the 2019 AFCON qualifier on Sunday.
The West African giants will be hoping to extend their lead at the summit of the standings when they meet the Harambee of Kenya on matchday two of the 2019 AFCON qualifiers.
Ghana recorded a 5-0 win over Ethiopia in the opening game of the qualifiers at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium last year, but a trip to Nairobi looks much more daunting and coach is calling on Ghanaians to get behind the team on Sunday.
“I will say Ghanaians should pray and support us, put all their support behind us. We are going out there to give all our best so that our country will be proud of us. It’s not going to be easy, because Kenya have got all the support and everything behind them but we are going there to make Ghana proud."
