Former chairman of Ghana Football Association, Dr. Nyaho Nyaho Tamakloe has urged newly elected GFA president Kurt ES Okraku and his Executive Council members to take an early decision on Black Stars coach James Kwesi Appiah.
The ex GFA head says it will be prudent if the fate of Kwesi Appiah is decided now with just two months to the end of his contract so that Ghanaians will know the way forward.
“The Black Stars must be restructured and they must come out with a decision as to who is going to coach them because nobody knows the position of the coach now. If it is the same coach they want, they must come out and say it whether Coach Kwasi Appiah is going to continue with the job. If they have in mind another person, they should come out quickly so we know also the coach who would handle them,” Nyaho told the Graphic Sports.
Various calls have been made for Appiah to vacate his post after the country’s abysmal performance in the 2019 AFCON in Egypt
