The president of the Ghana Beach Soccer Association (GBSA) Yaw Ampofo Ankrah has made a clarion call on Ghanaians to bury any grievances and pain harboured against the Black Stars
Reacting to a report by metro FM that the players are willing to accept whatever amount the nation will offer them, the astute broadcaster opined the move by the players must bring an end to the apathy Ghanaians have towards the team.
The Supersport anchor said that since there is no evidence to suggest that the players were influenced by officials to hold the nation to ransom, it must be assumed that they have now realised they can never hold the nation to ransom.
“Personally, I will always support our team called Black Stars because players come and go. What we must do is to forgive those who plotted the whole ” no bonus, no play fiasco” and move on. God has a way of working that you and I may never understand”. he told sportsworldghana.com in an interview.
