Captain of Ghana's Senior National team, Asamoah Gyan has indicated that his former club Liberty Professionals were better than Asante Kotoko in their Zylophone Cash Premier League Week 14 game.
Liberty put up a great performance at the Carl Reindorf Park though they could only manage a point and their ex-striker believes they should have carried the day.
” I feel Liberty should have won, we had a couple of chances that we should have scored. The boys were playing against a top side like Kotoko so a draw is Ok.” Gyan stated after the game
“We had the edge over them in all which was good for us,”
The Dansoman club started the season poorly but are now finding their feet as they sit in mid table with just a game to the end of the first round.
