The Ghana international provided two assists in the 3-0 thrashing of Neuchatel Xamax FC on Sunday.
He was a torn in the flesh of the visitors who had no answers to his artistry in the middle of the park.
Ashimeru set up Jeremy Guillemenot to open the scoring for in the 20th minute with a fine pass.
The WAFA SC graduate was also the provider for veteran Tranquillo Barnetta to make it 2-0 in the 67th minute.
Vincent Sierro scored from the spot to complete the victory for the hosts at the AFG Arena on Sunday.
The 21-year old has now tallied five assists and scored one goal in four matches after the winter break.
