Majeed Ashimeru is chasing his first career silverware tonight (Friday) when Red Bull Salzburg face his former side Austria Lustenau in the Austrian Cup final.
The match to be scheduled for the Wörthersee Stadium is the first match to be played in the country after the coronavirus break.
It will be an emotive clash for Ashimeru facing Lustenau- his first club in Europe after being loaned by Red Bull Salzburg.
''It's going to be a very good match tomorrow (Friday). I think it's going to be a great feeling to play against them again,'' Ashimeru said.
''This is team that helped me a lot and I will forever be grateful to them. I mean they will forever remain in my heart as a team that helped me to this level.
''It will be a very tough match tomorrow (Friday) and I am ready for it. I think hopefully we can win the trophy because me and my team are really focused and ready for the game.''
The 22-year-old played for the second-tier side in the first half of the 2017/2018 where he scored one goal in 11 appearances before being re-loaned to top-flight side Wolfsberger AC to the rest of the season.
