The Ministry of Youth and Sports has denied circling media reports that government has ratified a mandate extension for the Normalisation Committee.
The Dr. Kofi Amoah-lead four-member team will have their tenure elapse at the end of March.
But the committee has not achieved their core mandates of reviewing the statutes and start the process of organizing elections.
A statement signed by Communication Consultant Ahmed Osumanu Halid read: ''The Normalisation Committee has not sent any proposal to the Presidency for an extension of its mandate.
''The general public is hereby being advised to treat the story published on 442gh.com by Chief Seidu Adamu as falsehood and should be disregarded as such.''
