Struggling Ghanaian top flight side Legon Cities FC are set to embark on a massive clear-out of their playing body ahead of the second round of the 2019-20 Ghana Premier League.
The mega-rich club have endured a torrid start to life in Ghana's elite division and are looking to turn things around beginning from the second round.
Sources close to the Board of Directors of Legon Cities have disclosed to Ghanaguardian that a massive shake up in the playing body is imminent.
According to our sources, close to twenty(20) players will be demoted to the club's new youth set up to pave way for more experienced Ghana Premier League campaigners.
The Accra based side are currently on a massive recruitment exercise to augment their playing body.
Legon Cities are currently lying 14th on the league log with 12 points after eleven games played.
They will host Techiman Eleven Wonders at the Accra sports stadium this Saturday for their 12th game of the campaign.
