Bechem United has defeated Techiman Eleven Wonders 1-0 in a Match Week 5 fixture of the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League season this afternoon.
The two top-flight clubs locked horns at the Bechem Park today to complete the games on the matchday as they searched for all the available 3 points.
A good but slow start from the two clubs saw some decent goal scoring chances being created. The two sets of attackers for both teams, however, found it difficult to convert. Four minutes to end the half, Prince Adu Kwabena was presented with a good chance and took full advantage as he converted to put Bechem United into the lead.
Having gone into the break on the losing side, Techiman Eleven Wonders returned to the second half with an improved performance to try and restore parity. Their efforts could not cause any significant change as the match eventually ended 1-0 in favour of Bechem United.
In line with the win, the team has climbed to 6th position on the Ghana Premier League table with 10 points after playing five matches.
