Asante Kotoko head coach Maxwell Konadu has named Eleven Wonders as the club’s toughest opponent faced so far in the suspended Ghana Premier league season.
Before the suspension of football activities in Ghana, they occupied the third position on the league log with 25 points and a game in hand.
Kotoko started the campaign at home against Eleven Wonders. They labored to a 1-0 win with Justice Blay fetching the winner.
According to Maxwell Konadu, that game was Kotoko’s most difficult encounter so far in the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League.
The experienced tactician was speaking in an exclusive interview with FMiG.
When quizzed about his toughest game and opponent he replied “Eleven Wonders, the first game”.
“Because of the way the game went, they played so well in the first half especially”.
“In my opinion,they gave us a very difficult match” he stated.
The Ghana Football leagues are on a 4 week break owing to the CoronaVirus outbreak.
Until situations improve, it remains uncertain when the league season will be continued.
