Black Stars ‘B’ coach, Maxwell Konadu, says he is surprised by Elmina Sharks’ current form in the ongoing Ghana Premier League.
The Elmina giants for the past months has put up a spirited performance in the Ghana Premier League, which has moved them from the drop zone and they are at the 7th position with 33 points.
However, Konadu made this known when his side laboured to beat Elmina Sharks 1-0 in a friendly game on Wednesday thanks to Shafiu Mumuni’s strike.
“I think that Elmina Sharks are doing very well, what I have been seeing on TV they have really confirmed that they have a good team,” Konadu said.
“I’m not surprised they are out of the relegation zone because I know that the team is very good.”
The Black Stars ‘B’ are preparing for this month’s CHAN Qualifiers and next month’s WAFU tournament.
