Medeama SC has put all contracts talks on hold with giants Asante Kotoko over the permanent transfer of midfielder Justice Blay.
The two-time FA Cup holders want to wait for a " final decision from the Ghana FA" before deciding on several deals including talks with the Porcupine Warriors over Blay.
The club announced that all talks on new signings, out-of-contracts and loaned players have been put on hold via their Twitter handle.
"The club has taken a decision to put all contracts talks on hold. We want to be sure about the certainty of the league before we resume any form of talks," Medeama's Communication Director Patrick Akoto told the club's official website.
"The decision includes new signings, renewals, and loaned players.
"We are in constant touch with the Ghana FA and as and when a decision is made by the federation, we will know the way forward."
With the transfer placed on Kotoko by the club's lifetime patron and owner Otumuo Osei Tutu II, the Porcupine Warriors are desperate to have way out with the Tarkwa-based side.
Blay is expected to return to his parent club after ending his season-long loan in Kumasi.
