Mendy entitled to majority of unpaid Man City wages

A judge has determined that former Manchester City defender Benjamin Mendy is owed “the majority of his unpaid salary” by the Premier League club.

The French player, who faced charges of rape and sexual assault in August 2021, sought approximately £11 million in unpaid wages after being suspended without pay from September 2021 until his departure from the club in June 2023.

Mendy was acquitted of multiple charges of rape and attempted rape last year.
