The current crisis facing MenzGold is not only affecting individuals and companies but it’s also having a huge effect on Division League side Star Madrid, according to head coach Michael Osei.
Nana Appiah Mensah the Chief Executive Officer of Menzgold who doubles as the owner of Star Madrid has been on the radar of the Police after he was alleged to have fraudulently set up investment company Menzgold.

“We are facing a lot of problems. I’m currently in Accra because of that I couldn’t come to Kumasi for the Kotoko game.
“We are facing challenges because of what happened to our boss. We are trying to sort things out. So that we can participate in the upcoming special competition.
“I’m organizing things to see if we can start training,” he told Radio NL in Accra.
“The main boss is having problems with Menzgold as you know. All the attention has been on that side. We hope things will calm down so that we will see the way forward.”
