Former Ghana great Mohammed Ahmed Polo has urged the Ghana Football Association to appoint Kwesi Appiah as the next Black Stars coach.
Many pundits are advocating for the former Black Stars captain to be appointed as the successor to Israeli coach Avram Grant, who departed his role from the team last month after his contract with the nation’s football governing body expired.
On Wednesday, several news outlets reported that the Al Khartoum coach and other two expatriates have been shortlisted for the vacant position.
"I think Kwasi has proven himself and learnt a lot from what happened during his stay with the team so i think he is the best person for the job now," he said
"My concern is about Ghana winning the Nations Cup so if Kwasi is the one who can win as the title, let's give him the job."
