NSA Chairman Seth Panwum calls for Otto Addo’s sacking after AFCON 2025 qualification failure

Seth Panwum, Board Chairman of the National Sports Authority, has demanded the dismissal of Black Stars coach Otto Addo after Ghana's failure to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

The team, a four-time champion, endured a poor campaign, finishing last in Group F with just three points.

Panwum criticized Addo for failing to meet his performance-based contract's expectations.

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) Executive Council will meet on November 20, 2024, to decide Addo's future. Meanwhile, focus shifts to the 2026 World Cup qualifiers in March.
