Accra Hearts of Oak defender, Nuru Sulley has denied reports that he has requested to terminate his contract with the Phobians.
Sulley re-joined the Phobians prior to the start of the 2020/2021 season when he parted ways with Iraqi Premier League side Naft Al-Basra SC.
He made 16 league appearances for the Phobians last term as he helped the club to win the domestic double, thus the Premier League and the MTN FA Cup title.
However, according to reports in the local media, Sulley asked the management of the club for the second time to terminate his remaining contract but speaking to Ghanasportspage.com, he denied such claims.
"That particular thing is a problem I have with the club but it’s not about what is being speculated in the media (contract termination), I’m wondering where that issue could be coming from," he said.
"I’ve never requested for contract termination at Hearts, I’m happy here, I’ve been able to achieve my purpose of returning to the club which was to win the league and topped it up with the FA Cup so I’m okay. It has helped improve my career as well as my CV.
