Seth Panwum, Board Chairman of the National Sports Authority, has called for the immediate dismissal of Ghana coach Otto Addo following a shocking 2-1 defeat to Niger at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The loss marked Ghana’s first at the venue in 16 years and capped a dismal AFCON qualifying campaign, with the Black Stars finishing bottom of Group F without a single win—an unprecedented failure.
Speaking to Angel FM, Panwum stated, “Otto Addo must be sacked because he was given a performance contract and has failed to perform.”
The Ghana Football Association's Executive Council is set to review the team’s performance on Wednesday, but there’s no indication yet of Addo’s removal.
