Ghana's Parliament has committed to funding the training of 275 Physical Education (P.E.) teachers, one from each constituency, to become CAF-licensed coaches.
This initiative, part of the 30th-anniversary celebrations of Parliamentary Democracy in Ghana, aims to equip teachers with advanced coaching skills through training by CAF-certified instructors.
The teachers will return to their constituencies to enhance grassroots football by sharing their knowledge.
As part of the celebrations, Parliament organized a football match between Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak, with Kotoko winning 2-1 and earning a match against DC United in the U.S.
