Ghana striker Patrick Twumasi netted against his former club FK Spartaks in the Uefa Champions League game on Tuesday afternoon as FC Astana recorded a 1-1 draw.
Twumasi scored the opener for the Kazakhstani champions in 59th minute at the Astana Arena with a superb finish before his ex-club equalized in the 72nd minute through Edgars Vardanjans.
The Ghanaian spent his formative years in European football with the Latvian giants where he netted 16 goals in 32 appearance in two years before Joining Astana.
The Ghanaian also scored the winner in the first leg which Astana won by a lone goal.
