Former Black Stars winger, Quincy Owusu-Abeyie was included among other Arsenal lads who failed to live up to expectations for the club after rising through the ranks.
Quincy joined the Gunners at the age of 16-years and earned a place in the first team under Wenger.
The former Ajax youth star was a considered a budding talent with a massive prospect for the Gunners after netting 17 goals in 20 matches for the youth side.
Handed a chance in the top flight the Ghanaian failed to live up to expectation forcing the team to part ways with him.
Owusu-Abeyie was joined by Fran Merida, David Bentley, Jim Will, Jermaine Pennant, Jeremie Aliadiere and Ryan Smith among other youngsters who failed to make the grade at the English Club.
Quincy Owusu-Abeyie who has not earned a Black Stars call up is still an active footballer at age 33 in the Dutch league.
