Former Asante Kotoko defender Rahim Ayew continues to prove that fruits do not fall far from the tree that produced them after reviving his career and being named in the team of the season in Gibraltar.
The ex-Ghana defender who played for Asanate Kotoko and Nania FC in Ghana is regarded as the best right back in Gibraltar and has an improved offer on his table to sign a two year deal.
Rahim played in 27 league games as his team won the league for the first time in almost ten years.
His arrival in Gibraltar has seen FC Europa reach the UEFA Champions League qualification stage all though they failed spectacularly to progress against Walsh side New Saints.
The 30-year-old’s story is enough evidence that footballers can go through challenges and still find wealth and fame if they continue to work hard and dedicate their time to improving their craft.
The first son of Ghana footy legend has recently been linked with clubs in Columbia and Greece.
